![]() ![]() "First half was a bit sticky and it didn't quite work for us. "I knew with the week we've had and the high of Wednesday night (beating Sheffield United) that it's not always easy to just get back into your flow so quickly. Middlesbrough manager Michael Carrick told BBC Tees: He saved bravely from Akpom but could do nothing about the header which was powered past him, and then saved from the spot before the rebound was thrashed past him.īoro put the seal on it when McGree fired home at the back post from Matt Crooks' perfect square ball. However, the absence of Chris Willock, Lyndon Dykes and Tyler Roberts have left them short of punch up front, and they failed to take advantage of their first-half openings.Ĭhair's late free-kick was a slight glimmer of hope, but with players pushed forward, their optimism was short-lived as Boro replied almost immediately.īoro had few chances thanks to the positive approach of the visitors, but stepped up after the break to give Dieng plenty of problems. Rangers, whose boss Neil Critchley has now won just one of his 12 games in all competitions since his December appointment, were dogged throughout. Ilias Chair flashed a shot wide in one of the few Rangers chances after half-time, and Boro made sure of the points when McGree was brought down in the box by Kenneth Paal, and Akpom lashed in on the rebound.Ĭhair's cheeky free-kick caught out Zach Steffen to make stoppage time interesting, but McGree smashed in a back-post third to quell any home fears. Over all not that great.Having been frustrated by Rangers in a first half in which they scarcely had a shot on target, Boro eventually put keeper Seny Dieng under pressure, with Riley McGree's shot touched onto the post early in the second period.Ĭhampionship top scorer Chuba Akpom did end Rangers' resistance eventually, connecting with a superb Dan Barlaser cross with a perfect header steered away from Dieng. Performances of the actors was not to bad but the characters outside the main character is pretty uninteresting. ![]() ![]() Also the weird jump cuts are very obvious and distracting as well as when you make you choice there is a 5 sec pauses or more of the characters staring at each other awkwardly kind of ruining what tension in the scene was there. The story completely takes a strange twist that just doesn't make any sense and then within like 20 mins the game ends abruptly. At those points you feel like why even make a choice when the game changes it. The game then cuts to Kristina running back to Charlotte her friend back the other way. Example I picked to continue on a path cautiously. Choices in the game doesn't seem to have any real consequences as well as some choices you pick the game forces you to the other one on a few instances. Gameplay is simple, pick a choice and see the outcome of said choice. Now Kristina is determined to find answers on why she did it after figuring out Emily was seeing ghosts. If this was a movie (and it is) it would be held to a higher standard.ģ0% PlayStation 5I Saw Black Clouds follows Kristina going to her friends Emily's funeral after she commits suicide. These are all small grievances but put them all together and you've got a game with potential that only reaches half of it. One way is a bad ending and the other is a good one, even though when you look at the scene it's obviously the exact same staircase and the exact same scene altogether. Another example is a scene were you have to choose which stairs to take. Or the fight scenes that make no sense (prefering a flimsy peace of wood and a plastic bucket as a weapon over a brick to take on two adult men, really?). For instance, the way Jack's character behaves feels cartoonish at times, like a child playing a part he doesn't really understand. I only saw one route, one ending, but some scenes were very amateuristic compared to the rest of the game. It just takes away a lot of the experience. The music makes that even worse, even though the sounds itself is really good because of the same editing issue it keeps cutting off and breaking immersion. Scenes don't flow very well and this creates a disconnect at times, you just feel that the conversations are taken in different scenes. But it's let down by the technical side of things first, the editing is really bad. There are good performances here, parts of a good story, the game/movie looks and sounds really good. ![]()
